Elephants

Here is the next class older at Trinity Lutheran School. We've had so much fun. What great kids. Two more classes remain: Kangaroos and Crocodiles. They will have to wait until next week.

Now it's time for Gabriel's class. There won't be blogs tomorrow or Thursday since I will be doing PR Portraits with the Chamber of Commerce. On Friday, you'll get to see the next class up.

Today we'll start with the littlest kids at Trinity Lutheran. These kids were just adorable. Tomorrow, the Bears class (which is Gabriel's class).

Happy Thanksgiving

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving everyone. I'm going to be taking a couple days off blogging. Stay tuned to next week when you will get to see Trinity Lutheran Preschool's school portraits. Or at least some of them.
Enjoy the food, play some cards, and laugh with your family.

The Whole Howard Family

Hopefully this portrait won't hurt any of the Rockies fans' feelings out there! I am a life-long Cubs fan and can't wait for the day we can all dress up in our Cubs gear and celebrate a World Series win. Congrats to the Red Sox and I'm sure the Howard family had a great time watching the post-season unfold.

The Howard Family

We had a great time creating these portraits. I think you can really feel the relationship between brother and sisters in the color portrait. And the white portrait looks so heavenly to me. Tomorrow you will see the whole Howard clan.

Senior - Michael

Michael and I had a great time capturing these senior portraits. He had a great spot where he goes climbing with his friends and then we went to another spot. These portraits really reflect Michael's personality.

Houghton Family

Earlier this month I photographed the Houghton Family. Francis book the session to have a wonderful family portrait of her husband, daughter, son-in-law, son and grandsons. We had so much fun and they were some of the best models! It took very few clicks of the shutter to get these two wonderful portraits.

How Do Dinosaurs?

Here's a series of great children's books. Gabriel loves these. Sometimes our little ones can seem like big dinosaurs when they are hard to deal with. And these books discuss different situations in a very humorous manner. I highly suggest them for kids 2-6. They can be purchased on amazon.com.

When You Can't Choose Just One

Since I started my business last year. Two of my biggest selling items are the composites and the coffee table books. I have so many people tell me they can't narrow down the choices to just one or two. That's why the composites and books are a great option. Siena's mom ran into the same problem with this series of images with the blue sweater. We did quite a few other outfits, but there was just something about this grouping that was wonderful.
Each composite is personally designed for your images.
By the way, you will see Siena one more time when I post my Christmas card options next week. Ooooo....something to look forward to!

ENJOY!
P.S. For those who received the postcard, you can tell I like little Siena's portrait. She was on the blog yesterday and on the postcard too.

Siena

One of my parents' favorite relationship with a client is their work with their eye doctor. The end of last month, I started what I hope will be a long relationship with my eye doctor, Dr. Kim Parr, here in Cortez. I was able to photograph her ADORABLE daughter Siena! She has some beautiful blue eyes that I know are in good hands.

One Last Halloween One

I know I'm a week after Halloween, but this one was just so much fun. I enjoyed having a Spartan to use the "300" effects on.

Booo...Sick Day

I hate being sick. Went to the doctor today and found out I have a major sinus infection. No fun. So here is an image to enjoy. I'll send myself a get well flower. ;)
Hopefully I'll post more tomorrow.

The Cook Family

It seems like the last two days I've written about images that are now out of season. Last month I photographed the Cook Family on the Dolores River with the beautiful fall foliage. We had a great time.
Also, my newly designed website is up and running. Visit www.ngcphotography.com to view it. While your there, click on the contact page and send me a little note about what you think! I'd love your feedback.

Beautiful Bella

Bella is probably going to be the last of my portraits in my special little garden yard. As winter nears, we will start looking at portraits out on the rocks and in snow. But beautiful garden portraits are always so nice, especially for little ones. We just played and played to get these portraits. What fun!
