Amita Nicole Crowley

Our new little girl is here. Things didn't quite go as planned. We were scheduled for a c-section on Monday the 21st at 7:30 but then Sunday night we decided to go into labor. We did a "call everybody in in the middle of the night" c-section at 1:00 AM Monday morning. Here are all the details:
Amita Nicole Crowley
8 pounds 1 ounce
20.5 inches long
Born 1:34 AM
She and I are doing great. It is so wonderful having a little girl around the house. Next week I will be taking her first formal portraits. The first of many I'm sure. Keep an eye out for those!

Crowley Family

As my last post for a little while, I thought I would put up our family portrait. That is, what our family is like until July 21st and our new little one arrives. Thank you dad for the great relationship portrait of us. It was fun retouching and designing this into an amazing gallery wrap.

A Piece of Art

Some portraits commemorate a special event, some help us remember how we looked at a certain point in our lives. But then some are just a wonderful piece of art. After going through all their portraits, the Giesler family decided to hang this portrait above their fireplace. Even though you can't see there faces, you still get a strong feel of their relationship.
When people visit their home, this is going to be a dramatic piece that stands out.

Siena's Family

Not only did we do Siena's portraits, we also got the whole family together for a portrait. I am so thankful for my husband's aunt and uncle's yard. They have such a beautiful place to photograph people!

Siena

Before the holidays last year, I photographed little Siena in a blue sweater with her big blue eyes. She has grown so much over the last seven months. Still adorable!

Jarin - Part 2

I have photographed quite a few people at this wonderful location here in Cortez, but Jarin will be the last. Sadly on Saturday I drove by this spot and found it completely painted over. I almost cried. I'm going to miss my little "Graffiti Park".

Jarin

About a week ago I showed you quite a bit of Jarin's family. But he is also preparing to graduation from college this year so we did a senior session just for him. Here are some of his images over the next couple days.
Congrats Jarin!

Barry Children - Part 3

And in celebration of the fourth, and their first birthday, here is the other twin. These adorable girls are going to be beautiful when they grow up. Dad's going to have to keep a close eye on them!

Barry Children

Last week, I had a great time photographing the Barry Children. Earlier this year, I photographed the oldest daughter (the beautiful three year old in the pink sweater). Now I'm catching up on the other children.

Maternity Portrait

It seems like when a family has a second child, they just aren't photographed as often as the first. I figured I better set a good example for everyone. I finally managed to do my maternity self-portrait. At 36 weeks pregnant, we have three weeks left.
