Frank Protiva

I will be taking today and tomorrow off blogging as we head to Flagstaff to mourn the loss of Chris' former boss and our friend, Frank Protiva. Of all the people we know, Frank was one of the most joyous people. He was a shining light and will be sorely missed.

Hoag Children

While the group from yesterday's post was together, I also photographed each families' children together. Today is the Barry Children. You have seen them many times on my blog and we joke that their home is the Ucolo gallery for NGC Photography. What beautiful children!

Hoag Grandchildren

During the holidays I was commissioned to photograph a group of grandkids as a gift for their grandparents. It was quite a challenge with children ranging from 18 months to preteen. But I have to say, I really think the final portrait turned out great.

Welcome 2009

2009 is going to be a great year. Starting next week, I will have portraits from a large family session I shot prior to Christmas. The Greenlees were a wonderful family to work with and we had quite a few laughs. Check back on Monday to see some of their portraits.
